Treat your video files as you would your photos. Your video files also have hidden information about location, date, and more. This is called metadata. Remember to use my recommended naming conventions when saving your video files
Every person who drives in my opinion should own a dashcam. Why? In case of an accident and/or an insurance claim. Having a video clip of the incident can help prove an insurance case in your favor. Insurance companies are hard to pay out for claims. Any video evidence backed up with metadata is indisputable re an insurance claim, and in a court of law. I know this experientially from my legal tech background.
